Whoa ... I've downloaded the SDKs and will give it a try later on today.

If you remember, Bill Gates has bet on handwriting and speech recognition and text-to-speech. Wrong choice, the real next-gen devices seem to be (are?) multi-touch and accelerometer-based devices (as the iPhone and the Wiimote).

Related: What's the difference between an accelerometer and a gyro(scope) ? While it seems to be pretty complicated (angular momentum?),  a basic difference is that acceleromer-based devices cannot sense their rotation with in a place perpendicular to their "ground" axis, that is, the axis that points to the ground.

Did you know that *the best* image editing software has plugins ? Check some of them here.

It's here. A bit too much assembler for a JavaScript-related presentation, but ...

And they are funnier than ever:

NUTRITION PRIZE. Massimiliano Zampini of the University of Trento, Italy and Charles Spence of Oxford University, UK, for electronically modifying the sound of a potato chip to make the person chewing the chip believe it to be crisper and fresher than it really is.

...

MEDICINE PRIZE. Dan Ariely of Duke University, USA, for demonstrating that high-priced fake medicine is more effective than low-priced fake medicine.

...

What can I say but LOL:

I had a website crashing randomly with

A process serving application pool suffered a fatal communication error with the World Wide Web Publishing Service. The process id was '5240'. The data field contains the error number.

And

Application pool 'DefaultAppPool' is being automatically disabled due to a series of failures in the process(es) serving that application pool

So exactly the symptoms from here. Yet it was caused by a stack overflow on a particular request. What's so damn complicated to have some meaningful debug messages in this case ?

... for her first book! Albeit it's a collective novel:

For Asrock 4Core1333-GLAN: here, congrats to OriginalMACNUT.

Now only if I can get the dual monitor setup....
